M.W. Sound was created out of a pure love of music. The owner/operators of M.W. Sound are all musicians who have spent much of their lives playing and performing in front of live audiences.
A live band has to have all the skills of a standard DJ and so much more. Setting up a full five piece band and getting everything adjusted just right in order to make the band sound good is no easy task and having to do this in a different room (sometimes outside) three nights a week is even harder. Getting two guitars, a bass, keyboards, three vocal mics and five drum mics all set up just right and the ability to keep a live, rowdy and often drunk crowd of people up dancing and happy takes a special talent. All these past experiences have taught us how to make the music have the best quality sound possible and taught us how to read the crowd to make it a spectacular night for all in attendance.
M.W. Sound can bring a lot more to the table than a run of the mill DJ can. In a live band if it CAN go wrong, it WILL go wrong and you have to know how to fix things on the fly and keep playing like nothing ever happened. M.W. Sound has many years of live sound experience and we have learned the techniques needed to prevent anything from spoiling your special day or event. We enjoy working with you and everyone else involved in your wedding or event to make sure everything comes out the way you want it too!
Our equipment is the same stuff that many touring major label bands use and is a step up from standard DJ equipment. Our equipment is all balanced and matched to the system that it is in, allowing very clean, distortion free sound even when you might feel the need to turn it up to “11”.
